Fresh off the back of their triumph in the Trophy Final there was no respite for the 1st Team as the next week they moved on into the promotion playoffs as the winners of Midland 1A League. For the second semi-final this season it was Leeds 1st they faced at Clifton Campus, with their opponents having taken the North 1A title, but having fallen 3-0 losers to NTU at the beginning of the previous month.
Unfortunately video footage of the fixture wasn't recorded, but NTU's superiority came through again, especially from set pieces, with Charlotte Broad, Mary Cooper and Laura Dexter all converting from corners. With Amy Sims also scoring from open play NTU ran out 4-0 winners and progressed to the Playoff Final.
