For the second week running the 1st Team welcomed a team they had already faced this year, this time Scotland 1A winners Edinburgh. With all of the clubs three previous meetings been decided by penalties or a single goal, including NTU's 3-2 win in extra time in the Last 32 of the Trophy this season, a tight game was in the offering.
Again there was no video footage available of the game, which unfortunately saw NTU come out on the wrong side of a 2-1 defeat, their first of the season. Edinburgh scored two goals in the 1st half and, despite heavy NTU pressure throughout the match and a late goal from the returning Olivia Bramley, time ultimately ran out.
Despite the disappointment of the final game it had been a great season, setting new records in winning the league title and becoming the first team form the Midland region to win the BUCS Trophy.
